Mon Rovia Oakland Concert reviews
Lifehouse awesome! Daughtry/Nokia meh.
Lifehouse sounded great and I enjoyed their music, but Mon Rovia was a disappointment. His performance at the main act was one of the most disappointing I've seen in about ten concerts. You couldn't make out his lyrics in many songs, as it was muddled in the bass and drums. On this night, in this hall, he lacked charisma and the ability to motivate the crowd. His stage presence was lacking, often singing towards the ceiling or at his drummer instead of engaging with the audience. Many people were seated during his big hits. While the facility itself was nice, the bad sound and the lack of audience engagement could be attributed to the venue as well as Mon Rovia's performance. I would recommend seeing Lifehouse again, but I won't be attending a Mon Rovia show for a few years.
